Directing the concerned departments to remain in constant touch with each other to foil the designs of Pakistan’s enemies, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday ordered these departments to ensure implementation on the plan drawn up for overall security in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad convened to discuss the law and order situation in the country.
The steps taken by the government for the protection of foreigners, especially Chinese nationals living in the country, came under discussion at the meeting.
Ministry of Interior and concerned departments’ officials, on the occasion, briefed the minister about the security plan.
Naqvi made it clear to them that there was no room for any negligence when it came to the protection of the lives and properties of the people.
Mohsin Naqvi has directed the relevant authorities to ensure thorough implementation of SOPs of security plan for foreign nationals especially Chinese working in Pakistan.
The minister said the formulated security plan should be regularly monitored at every level and relevant institutions should keep close contact to foil any nefarious intentions of anti-state elements.
