A man has registered an FIR against a North Nazimabad school in Karachi in Rizvia Police Station over alleged mistreatment of a 12-year girl student, reported 24News HD TV channel.
In the FIR, the sections for illegal confinement and threats have been included.
According to the details, a seventh class girl student of the school was harassed by the administration for three days over non-payment of dues.
The school administration also allegedly locked-up the 12-year girl in the guard’s room.
The complainant said in his application that he was suffering economic constraints due to the coronavirus lockdown and a seven-month fee for her daughter was overdue. He said he had already paid the three months fee and has requested the school administration that he would pay a double fee each month to clear the remaining dues.
However, despite agreeing to the terms, the school administration continued to harass the girl and kept her standing outside the classroom for the whole day.
He said her daughter was also not given the lunch in her school bag and on-day also locked her up in the guard’s room.
He said getting fed up with the school administration’s attitude, he has to file the case against the school administration over mistreating her daughter.
