The weather has turned pleasant in Karachi as the city was lashed with light rain on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The wind speed which accompanied the drizzle was recorded at 40/km.
According to metrological department, the city is expected to receive heavy rain on Thursday (March 23) due to formation of thunderous clouds.
Another system of westerly winds enters Balochistan today supporting from the Arabian Sea through moisture. This system may bring rain and hailstorm in most areas across Karachi from March 22-24.
On the other hand, rain with wind thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lower Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 12 hours.
Isolated hailstorm is likely at few places during the forecast period, while heavy rainfall is expected at few places in northern and lower districts of Baluchistan.
According to the weather report, during last 24 hours, there was thundershower in Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lower Sindh and Kashmir.

Maximum temperature recorded today: Shaheed Benazirabad 37, Skarund and Rahimyar Khan recorded 35 degrees Celsius.
