The National Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution condemning vandalism on May 9 after the arrest of Imran Khan in Islamabad.
In the resolution, it is stated that the House condemned the shameless incidents on May 9 which tarnished the national image.
The House resolved that on May 9 to be reckoned as Black Day, all abettors, planners, facilitators and other persons involved in attacks should be prosecuted under existing laws of the Army Act 1952, Anti-terrorism Act 1997 and Pakistan Penal Code 1860.
The House also resolved that those involved in propaganda campaigns on social media within and outside Pakistan should strictly be dealt with as per law.
