Renowned Pakistani script-writer Nooran Makhdoom (who has written the story of blockbuster drama serial ‘Tere Bin’) has lately appeared in a candid interview during which she made sure to reveal that she was a bit confused initially regarding who to cast as the female lead in ‘Tere Bin’.
Nooran has revealed during the engrossing interview session that she was initially not sure regarding whether to cast actress Hania Aamir or Yumna Zaidi as ‘Meerab’ however the producers ended up choosing Yumna Zaidi.
The lady clearly emphasized during the engaging conversation that she did not choose actor Wahaj Ali for the role of male lead because she had left this particular decision in the hands of the production house.
Nooran Makhdoom also decided to talk a bit about the criticism she has received lately regarding the controversial ‘marital rape scene’ in ‘Tere Bin’ which has ignited emotions of extreme contempt due to how much the general population had started adoring the character of ‘Murtasim’, role played by Pakistani actor Wahaj Ali.
While defending the critical scene which will be featured in the upcoming episode the writer stated: “It’s a situation which was the demand of the serial that will lead to the climax.”
The writer emphasized: “If the audience isn’t appreciating it, I can’t change it. It’s just a drama. They should wait for the entire story to unfold instead of taking issue with every episode.”
However, lately Pakistani actress Hira Soomro (who is playing a side character in the drama serial as Mariam) appeared in a video message to address the controversial scenes of ‘Tere Bin’ drama serial.
In her video message, the actress stated that if viewers are expecting any sort of conflict, they should wait, as other episodes might end up resolving matters.”
