Senator Faisal Vawda has said that he cannot talk about judges’ conduct but he can speak about judges’ misconduct, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Expressing his views in the Senate, Senator Vawda claimed that he always spoke with facts and proofs, unluckily in Pakistan pointing out mistakes had become a crime.


Senator Vawda said that he would continue to raise his voice against injustices. He said some sections of the society claimed to be more respectful than the parliament.


Vawda claimed that he stood by each and every word of his press conference. He said he could not get justice in the past and doesn’t know whether will justice now or not.


He said the apex court claimed that the court committed a mistake by hanging ZA Bhutto. He questioned why not a symbolic execution was given to a judge or a dictator for a wrong decision.


Vawda said that the attitude against parliament is disappointing. He said courts were opened at 12 o'clock in the night for founder PTI. Besides the judges of the higher courts, the subordinate judges were also violating the rules.


He said Justice Baqir Najfi had demanded protocol for his son. He said courts were not providing justice but they were demanding protocols. Vawda said if someone questions courts' performance, he receives contempt of court notice and if courts commit mistakes it will be declared an error.


He said that the Lahore High Court judge’s son had demanded 30 passes for cricket matches. He questioned whether it was the code of conduct.


He claimed a judge has issued a complaint against Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani. He reminded that the courts that it is ranked at 140 in the global justice index.


Senator Irfan Siddiqui while expressing his views in the Senate said that attitude against parliament is disgraceful. He claimed the judiciary has many faces and one face was attached to it for the last many decades.


He said courts bestowed floral wreaths on dictators and welcomed them. And whenever democracy was derailed in the country, the courts always stood against the parliament.


He said during the law of necessity, parliament was trampled and democracy was choked by them.


Siddiqui said an elected prime minister was sent home for not taking a salary from his son. He said that judges in the country were above the constitution and law. 


Siddiqui said honorable judge Justice Athar Minallah during a speech had claimed that if all the sayings of Imam Abu Hanifa were followed, the differences would emerge in the judiciary. He quoted Imam Abu Hanifa’s saying that a judge in anger cannot make good decisions.


Siddiqui said no comparison can be made between our judges and Imam Abu Hanifa.


He said during a hearing of a case, a judge gave a remark about a uniformed officer that whether he stayed on the moon. He said when judges demand respect then they should give the same respect to others.


Siddiqui claimed that he was proud that they brought the entire nation and parliament to one page. He said he was proud that we stand together in the rule of law.


Siddiqui said that a judge’s wife inflicted torture on a minor maid, what happened to the trial, was the judge’s wife punished?


He said courts failed to give decisions in rape cases but the court issues a stay order on sasti roti and e-bikes schemes by the governments.


He condemned the attack on PTI leader Rauf Hassan. He said that with such incidents, they cannot silence dissenting voices.
