SHO, SDPO suspended over robbery in senator’s house

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police transferred Station House Officer (SHO) and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Shalimar Police Station over robbery incident in Senator Nuzhat Sadiq’s house in the federal capital the other day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shalimar Police Station SHO Shaukat Mehmood has been suspended and replaced with Sub-Inspector Tipu Sultan.

Central Police Officer Islamabad on Monday notified suspension orders of SDPO Hakim Khan too. 

Sub-Inspector Abdul Qadir has been posted at SHO Bani Gala Police Station.

On Nov 20, robbers and thieves looted cash and valuables from the house of a senator in the capital.

Police said a gang of robbers looted cash and valuables worth over Rs3 million from the house of PML-N Senator Nuzhat Sadiq in F-10/1.

The senator was out of the town when the robbers raided the house and held up the legislator’s husband and three servants at gunpoint.

Three of the robbers ransacked the house in search of cash and valuables while two remained outside. The culprits looted Rs3 million and gold ornaments and escaped.
