The global and Pakistani gold markets observed a soar in rates of the yellow metal, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday
According to the report, the per tola price of 24 karats of pure gold increased by Rs500 and was sold at Rs215,600 in the Pakistani market.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs428 to Rs184,842.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained constant in the local market at Rs2,550 and Rs2,186.21 respectively.
On Tuesday, the price of gold in the international market was increased by $12 to $2,011 per ounce.
