The Pakistani rupee appreciated by another 66 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank market on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the local currency went up by 0.27 percent and ended the day at Rs285.13.
On Tuesday, the Pakistani rupee had registered a gain to settle for the day at Rs285.79 against the US dollar.
In a key development, the caretaker Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs Dr Shamshad Akhtar has highlighted the positive signs of economic recovery on Tuesday, expecting GDP growth between 2 to 2.5% in the fiscal year 2024.
