Pakistan issues Rs55 commemorative coin on 555th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak

The State Bank of Pakistan has issued a commemorative coin to mark Baba Guru Nanak's 555th birth anniversary, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
The central bank issued a 13.5-gram Rs55 coin on the 555th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak and according to a statement, it is made of nickel and copper.
Pakistan has various religious identities and people from all walks of life enjoy equal rights here, the statement maintained, adding that Sikhism is a global religion and its holy places are located in Pakistan.
The coin will be available at the exchange counters of the field offices of the SBP. In 2019, the SBP issued a Rs550 commemorative coin on the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
