Lahore ranked first in the world in terms of air pollution and also maintained its first position in Pakistan as Lahore's Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 499 on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to report, Air Quality Index recorded 814 in Cantt, CERP Office 736, Syed Muratab Ali Road 649, Valencia Town 551 and Ghazi Road 553.
However, experts advise citizens to take precautionary measures.
Current temperature of the city was recorded 16 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius are likely while humidity ratio in the air was recorded 80 percent.
The game of peek-a-boo between the sun and clouds is likely to continue in the city.
