PPP leader and Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman Syed Ali Haider Gilani said on Monday that following the passage of the 26th constitutional amendment by the parliament, the next amendment would be related to the creation of South Punjab province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In an exclusive interview with 24News, Ali Gilani said on this occasion, he congratulated all democratic forces in the country and the masses. “I felicitate Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other heads of the political parties, currently part of the coalition government.”
These amendments, he went on to say, would benefit the masses the most.
PAC chairman said that the Supreme Court (SC) in the past had removed two elected prime ministers namely Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Nawaz Sharif from office, while one, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) was hanged.
Gilani said that Pakistan would become interest-free country by 2028.
