Bollywood remembers comedian Raju Srivastava

Indian actor and comedian Raju Srivastava died at the AIIMS hospital in Delhi. Srivastava had been admitted to the hospital on August 10, spent 41 days there, and passed away. The comedian had a heart attack last month while working out in the gym and was taken to the hospital where he was placed on life support. Srivastava spent more than two weeks on a ventilator.

On social media, Bollywood bigwigs and a number of fans shared their sorrow at losing their hero. In a touching tribute to his friend and fellow comedian, comedian Kapil Sharma shared a photo of them together on the set.

Another comedian, Sunil Grover, paid tribute to Raju Srivastav by writing: "RIP Raju Srivastava Ji. He made the whole country laugh. It's sad today that he has gone, too soon. My condolences to family and friends."

Not only the comedian but even Narendra Modi also gave condolences to the family for the loss. He wrote: Raju Srivastava brightened our lives with laughter, humour, and positivity. He leaves us too soon but he will continue to live in the hearts of countless people thanks to his rich work over the years. His demise is saddening. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.

With his brilliant observations on certain highly relevant real-life situations and well-timed jokes, Raju Srivastava has established a reputation for himself in the world of stand-up comedy. He was most known for appearing on programmes including "The Kapil Sharma Show," "The Comedy Circus," and "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge."
