A young man who was riding on a motorcycle was critically injured when a razor-sharped kite string slit his throat in the Gajju Matta area of Lahore, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to details, soon after the incident, the motorcycle hit the fence of the Metro Bus, resulting in the injury of two children.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif took notice of the incident and directed to Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Punjab to forward her a detailed report about the incident immediately.
She strongly condemned the incident and said that the Punjab government adopted a zero-tolerance policy against persons involved in kite-flying incidents.
