Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s wife Jamileh Alamolhoda visited the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Monday.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the Iranian First Lady interacted with the students and teachers.
She got an honorary degree and launched the English version of her book titled ‘The Art of Feminine Living’. She shed light on the role of women in Islam.
The Iranian president has been leading a delegation, comprising his cabinet members, senior officials and businesspeople, to a three-day official visit to Pakistan.
He and his spouse will spend a busy day tomorrow (Tuesday) in Lahore with several visits and activities planned for the dignitaries.
The couple will arrive at Lahore’s Haji terminal, where Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will receive the esteemed guests.
The Iranian president will visit the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and attend the GCU Lahore conference. He will meet Punjab Governor Baleeghur Rehman and Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz.
Accompanied by Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Iranian First Lady will be headed to Khana-e-Farhang Iran to attend an event.
She will visit the University of Home Economics where she will attend a conference. She will head to the Governor's House to meet the Punjab CM.
She will visit the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and then head to the airport to depart for Karachi.
