A public holiday in Karachi has been announced as Iranian President Dr Ebrahim Raisi will visit the city today, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
According to the report, all private and government offices, commercial centres and educational institutions will remain closed in Karachi today.
The administration tightened the security and imposed Section 144 in the city. The use of drone cameras was also banned in Karachi for a week.
The city administration advised the citizens to use alternative routes upon arrival of Iranian guests in Karachi.
