Gujar Khan Police arrested a three-member gang of ladies pickpockets from Tehsil Head Quarters (THQ) Hospital, 24News HD TV channel reported on Monday.
The police have also recovered several smart mobile phones with cash and jewelry and some other valuable things from three ladies pickpockets.
The gang was usually acted in rush hours in the hospital and deprived patients and attendants of their valuable things by cutting ladies purses and shopping bags.
Medical Superintendent (MS) of the Hospital Dr Ghulam Murtaza taking stern notice of the incidents of pickpocketing with the patients, installed short circuit cameras and deputed a security team to catch the insensitive pickpockets.
The hospital authorities on Monday succeeded to trace three ladies involved in pickpocketing. The hospital’s security team nabbed the gang and handed over the police immediately.
