‘Muzna is lucky for me’, Haris Rauf praises wife after taking five wickets against Afghanistan

Pakistani cricket pacer Haris Rauf praised her wife Muzna Masood Malik in a post-match interview after defeating Afghanistan by 142 runs in the first ODI.

Haris Rauf declared as the ‘Man of the Match’ for taking five catches and leading the Green shirts into a crushing victory against Afghanistan.

After the match, the terrific pace trio of the national cricket team Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf share their views on the first ODI.

The host especially asked Rauf his experience of first match after his marriage on which he gave a positive response and called his wife Muzna his lucky charm.

Here we have the exact words stated by the ‘Man of the Match’:

“Definitely there have been changes in life after the wedding. Alhamdulillah, she his wife is lucky for me.”

“Obviously a start like this in a series is morale boosting ahead of mega events like Asia Cup and World Cup,” he added.

Further when he was asked to whom he will dedicate the ‘Man of the Match’ title, Rauf named his family and especially his mother saying that she always supported him in his cricket career and due to her prayers he always garner success.

He also shared two pictures on his Instagram handle, one of himself holding the trophy and the other shows his co-players Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Shadab Khan.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan’s first-choice pacer Haris Rauf married Islamabad-based model Muzna Masood Malik in grand festivities last month. The private events were attended by close family and friends, while the national cricketers were busy with a training camp in Karachi so did not attended the ceremony.
