Expressing solidarity with the teachers, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Thursday that placing teachers under the local bodies (LBs) was the worst example of ‘incompetence’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet, she said categorically that she and her party stood by these teachers. She demanded deletion of that clause of the presidential ordinance which had affected the teachers.
Referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan, she said, “You, who has destroyed our present; refrain from destroying our future, and pack up and leave.”
