Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday appointed Dr Tauqeer Shah as the Principal Secretary for one year.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Dr Tauqeer Shah has been appointed by the PM on contract for one year.
As per the channel, a notification of Dr Tauqeer's appointment has also been issued on Friday.
It is worth mentioning that Dr Tauqeer Shah is serving as the PM's Secretary and is going to retire tomorrow, Saturday, December 24, 2022.
As per the notification of his appointment, the one-year contract of Dr Tauqeer Shah as PS to PM will be counted from the very next day of his retirement December 25.
