The mother of former PTI leader Usman Dar on Saturday visited the returning office in Sialkot and summitted the nomination papers for the February 8 general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media before filing her nomination papers, she said: “PML-N leader Khawaja Asif is telling a lie and he is responsible for whatever happened to me. He misled the public when he said I am like his sister.”
Had he (Khawaja Asif) had any self-respect, she added, “he would have visited my home after police raid on my house.”
“Were the DPO and relevant officers were removed from their posts after attack on my house?” she questioned.
“We were thrown out of the house and we had to spend the night on the road,” Usman Dar’s mother added. Whatever is happening to us, she added, is benefitting Khawaja Asif.
She said voters will avenge the accesses being committed against them on February 8.
