An interesting situation developed during Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech at NUML University in Mianwali on Sunday when an attendee’s continued talk drew the attention of the country’s chief executive.
Addressing the students and their parents gathered at the university’s 7th Convocation, Imran Khan was making points about the importance of the education when he started to lose his concentration again and again due to the continuous ‘chirping’ by the guest present in the audience seated in university's courtyard.
Imran Khan suddenly stopped his speech and gave a shut-up call to the man making loud whispers. Pointing a finger at the attendee, Imran Khan said: “Go out of here for some time if you cannot keep quiet.” Then he resumed his speech from where he left.
During the speech, the light-hearted PM said to the parents attending the ceremony, “Don’t be so serious. Be happy as it is the day of celebrations.”
