Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Wednesday returned two cars part of his VIP security protocol, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It is pertinent to mention here that soon after taking oath as the CJP, Justice Bandial had refused to travel in these cars.
Registrar of the apex court had even briefed him about the use of these cars. But still, the CJP refused to avail the facility.
Under the security protocol, a CJP is entitled to two bombproof vehicles.
The entire squad of the CJP consists of total eight vehicles, including jammers and the cars belonging to Pakistan Rangers.
