PTI founder chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has said that he has penned a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), arguing that who will pay back the loan if the country continued to face political instability, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking informally to newsmen at Adiala Jail after hearing of a case on Friday, Imran Khan said “I wrote a letter to the IMF. Poverty in the country will worsen due to the loan non-payment. The debts will continue to snowball until there is investment in the country. And for that the most important thing is to bring political stability in the country.”
Responding to a question, he said “Institutions including courts and NAB were targeted earlier for ‘selection of Nawaz Sharif. I was zeroed to make way for Nawaz Sharif, then rigging was carried out in general elections.”
He further said now Rawalpindi commissioner had made startling revelations. “The commissioner was taken away in Vigo van, tortured and his ‘software’ has now been updated,” the former prime minister added.
