Three persons including father and son were shot dead while a woman injured in an armed clash between two groups of Chandio family over a matrimonial dispute in Shikarpur on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police the victims have been identified as Noor Nabi Chandio, his son Gul Khan Chandio and Abdul Kareem Chandio while the injured woman was identified as Hakima.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies and the injured to Sultankot Hospital.
However, the series of firing continued intermittently, fearing further bloodshed.
A heavy contingent of police has been deployed to prevent further bloodshed, said Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
