Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) organized a rally at Liberty Chowk to show solidarity with Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz on Saturday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, PML-N Lahore general secretary Imran Nazir, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and other leaders addressed the rally.
Saad strongly criticized former premier Imran Khan in his speech and said if they are pushed out, the election will not come. He said the decision of the election will be taken by the politicians of Pakistan only.
The PML-N leader said some people did not like the continuity of democracy in Pakistan so they launched the ‘Imran Project’ to derail it in the country.
PML-N leader Saad said that the honourable courts do not have the right to make the constitution. He said the opinion of the Supreme Court on Article 63A is against the constitution.
He said Imran Khan is trying to put pressure on the institutions by making allegations. He said the conspiracy to wall the allied parties should be stopped.
Atta Tarar said his party will not accept the decision till the interpretation of Article 63A of the Constitution of Pakistan.
