Two members of a same family, including a woman, who had gone to Karachi’s Hawkes Bay for picnic drowned in the Arabian Sea on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The rescuers, however, managed to save the lives of four women of the same family.

Meanwhile, a citizen drowned in sea while bathing at Seaview in Karachi.

According to rescue officials Danesh had come to bathe at Seaview with his friends.

Another friend of his drowned along with Danish, who was immediately rescued.

The rescue team shifted the body to the hospital.

Darakhshan police failed to stop the citizens because despite the imposition of Section 144, banning bathing, citizens continue to rush to the beach.
