Pakistani actress Ushna Shah was recently trolled on social media for asking about the popularity of the "Diriliş: Ertuğrul" Turkish TV series in other parts of the world.
The actress dismissed the suggestion that she is jealous of the show that PTV is currently airing with Urdu dubbing.
When a fan drew her attention towards the criticism the show has received from Pakistani actors, Ushna said although she has not watched ‘Ertugrul’ yet, she thinks that it is brilliant and “it’s about time we had such shows.”
Earlier, Ushna Shah was criticized by renowned singer Hadiqa Kiani.
On Saturday, Shah took to Twitter to state that Aima Baig and Quratulain Balouch (QB) are the “only credible female vocalists” in Pakistan.
When a fan mentioned Kiani on the thread, she replied saying, “Ehn.”
That tweet, since deleted, was sent to Kiani and the singer took it upon herself to list down all the powerful female vocalists that are present in Pakistan today, added that, “Women need to support women!”
Kiani wrote, “Shall we educate Ushna Shah on some brilliant Pakistani female singers? Women need to support women so I think it would be really cool if we gave her some songs from Pakistani female singers?”
