Slow and heavy rainfall in different areas of Karachi has turned the weather pleasant in the megacity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Different areas including Seaview, Shahrah-e-Faisal, and Nursery have received light and heavy rainfall, according to the Meteorological Department.
On the other hand, Islamabad is likely to experience thundershower with gusty winds while hailstorm is also expected at some places.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, areas including Chitral, Swat, Dir, Malakand, Mansehra, Abbottabad and Balakot are likely to experience strong winds and thundershowers.
Areas including Kohat, Kohistan, Peshawar, Nowshera, Haripur, Mardan, Kurram, Waziristan, DI Khan and Bannu are likely to experience gusty winds and thundershowers. Hailstorm is also expected at some places.
In Punjab, areas including Murree, Galyat, Pothohar region, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin and Toba Tek Singh are likely to receive thundershowers with gusty winds.
Other cities including Faisalabad, Jhang, Khushab, Bahawalnagar, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Lahore, Kasur, Gujrat, Narowal, Sialkot, Mianwali, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Sahiwal, Okara and Khanewal are also likely to experience strong winds and thundershowers. Hailstorm is also expected at some places.
In Balochistan, cities including Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Sibi, Jafarabad, Nasirabad, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Jiwani, Lasbela, Dalbandin, Kalat, Khuzdar, Turbat, Awaran, Panjgur, Kech, Gwadar, Pasni and Makran are likely to receive thundershowers with gusty winds.
Heavy rain is expected in the northern and northeastern regions of Balochistan. Hailstorm is also expected at a few places in the province.
In Sindh, cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Umerkot, Thattha, Badin, Mithi, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar and Dadu are likely to experience gusty winds and thundershowers. Hailstorm is also expected at a few places in the province.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to experience rain with strong winds and thundershowers. Hailstorm is also expected at some places in Kashmir.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that the first 10 days of Ramazan will be cold.
