PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has made it clear that water issue is PPP’s top priority as it is matter of life and death for the people of Sindh therefore the issue of construction of six canals will be raised at all forums, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.
Talking to media at President House Islamabad, Bilawal said PPP will launch a movement on this issue with a strong approach and a coordinated strategy.
He said federal government will have to work to create more consensus on the issue of terrorism. He said after the national security meeting he personally went to Balochistan and reviewed the law and order situation.
Bilawal said all stake holders and political parties have to join hands to end menace of terrorism.
Talking about budget, Bilawal said PPP has started its preparations for the upcoming federal budget. He said PPP will give the government the best suggestions regarding the public-friendly and employee-friendly budget. He said PPP recommendations will be included in the budget.
He said PPP was in contact with the Prime Minister for the payment of funds to the flood victims.
