Three days long "Bagh-e-Aman Mela" (Bagh Peace Festival) has been started in the Tirah Valley of Khyber District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday.
The peace festival is jointly organized by the district administration and the Frontier Corps North. The Bagh-e-Aman festival will continue till May 25.
At the opening ceremony of the festival, participants sang the national anthem while children waved the national flag.
Children presented various tableaux, and the band while marching in the festival received special accolades from the participants through beautiful melodies.
On this occasion, the bike rides of the Military Police also showed their skills while Khattak dance and other regional dances were also performed at the event.
The special event of the opening ceremony was the paragliding and power gliding demonstrations which were highly appreciated by the participants of the peace festival.
The participants of the peace festival thanked the administration for organizing the fascinated event and said that holding such kinds of activities in the area is a clear example of peace.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by senior civil and military officials, tribal district leaders, area residents, children and other guests from various walks of life.
