CM Naqvi assures lawyers from Multan, Vehari, Lodhran of solving their problems

During a meeting with the delegations of Multan High Court Bar Association (MHCBA) and Vehari and Lodhran District Bar Associations, Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Tuesday assured the lawyers of solving their problems on a priority basis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The office-bearers of the bar associations had apprised the chief minister of the problems faced by the lawyers.

The chief minister ordered the deputy commissioner to take immediate steps for the seating and air-conditioning system in the auditorium of the MHCBA.

He also sought a plan for the extension of the ladies’ bar room and the establishment of a daycare centre at the MHCBA, stating that the executive room of MHCBA will also be constructed and expanded.

The chief minister also vowed to resolve the security issues of the MHCBA and announced providing financial support for the provision of books in the bar association and for the subscription of online foreign libraries.

He also directed the completion of the boundary wall and tuff-tiling on the premises of Lodhran and Vehari Bar Associations on a priority basis.

He also sought reports from the Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) and the deputy commissioner to review the affairs of Lawyers Colony. He also approved financial support to the libraries and other projects of the bar associations.

The chief minister also ordered the deputy commissioner to take immediate steps for the installation of a filtration plant in the Vehari Bar Association, adding that provision of the best education and health facilities would be ensured for the lawyers’ community.

“My doors are always open for you,” Mohsin Naqvi said to the lawyers. “Instructions have been issued to the administration of the respective districts to solve the problems of the lawyers,” he added.

The office-bearers of Multan and Lodhran bar associations were present on the occasion.
