Direct Hajj flights from Pakistan to Jeddah will commence on Friday May 24. So far, 31,057 official Hajj pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia via 126 Hajj flights.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, over 2,000 pilgrims under the private scheme have also reached Saudi Arabia and an additional 24,050 pilgrims will reach Madinah Munawwara on 12 flights today.
The channel said with the special support of Saudi authorities, 16,500 Hajj pilgrims completed their pilgrimage to Riaz Al-Jinnah in Madinah Munawwara.
Following their visit to Madinah Munawwara, 12,435 Hajj pilgrims have now reached Makkah where support of them was continued as 156 assistants are providing medical facilities while 336 assistants are managing transportation, accommodation, and food arrangements.
The main control office in Makkah continues to offer guidance and support to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims through the Pak Hajj mobile app.
The Hajj flights operation from Pakistan was started on May 9 this year and 15 flights from different cities across the country were reached Madinah Munawwara.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain personally visited to Madinah Munawwara on May 16 to ensure the seamless execution of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
The federal minister personally toured various departments of the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that each aspect of the pilgrimage process was meticulously managed.
