Hadiqa Kiani praises government decision in support of single mothers

Singer-songwriter, guitarist and actress Hadiqa Kiani's life achievements are quite inspiring however the renowned Pakistani star had to face some strenuous personal life struggles which many aren't aware of. In the latest update from the music personality, she has applauded the decision passed to allow child of single mother to acquire CNIC without father's information.

If you didn't know, Hadiqa Kiana lives with her mother who has been facing paralysis since 2006. In 2005, Hadiqa adopted her son Naad-e-Ali from the Edhi Foundation. However then Hadiqa tied the knot with UK-based Afghan businessman, Syed Fareed Sarwary but the resilient music star had to later divorce the man in 2008.
The celebrity has lately taken to her Instagram handle and posted a long note in which she has expressed her relief and appreciation for the government to allow children of single mothers eligible to acquire CNIC without father's information.
Hadiqa stated: "Only Allah knows the hardships a single mother faces in our country. Today I have been sent so many clips from my conversation with Sameena Peerzada regarding only the surface of those hard realities but today our country has taken one step forward. I am so grateful to the courageous men and women who fought to make this change. Let's continue on the right path, let's make a stronger and safer Pakistan."
