The Pakistan Customs Wednesday foiled a bid of smuggling Rs10 million worth of contrabands from Sharjah at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Customs officials also arrested two suspects and recovered a number of cell phones, tablets and other items from their possession.
“Rs5.2 million worth of customs duty is incurred on the goods recovered,” the officials said.
“A case has been registered against the accused,” they added.
