Balochistan government sponsors Palestinian students in BMC

The caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, Wednesday announced that the provincial government will take responsibility for the educational expenses and sponsorship of eleven students from Palestine and Gaza studying at Bolan Medical College (BMC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The students, eight from Gaza and three from Palestine, are pursuing their medical degrees in BMC. Among them is a female student, who is the only female Palestinian student in the college.

The caretaker chief minister said that the families of all the Palestinian students are living in war-torn areas and have been facing financial difficulties and problems due to lack of contact with them.

He said that the Balochistan government would bear the full support and education expenses of the students as a gesture of solidarity and brotherhood with the Palestinian people.

He also said that the exams for the students will continue from 28 November 2023 to 14 December 2023 and wished them success in their academic endeavors.

He expressed hope that the students would return to their homeland as qualified doctors and serve their nation.
