In a move aimed at preventing unrest, Islamabad police have continued their crackdown on suspected miscreants linked to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ahead of the planned November 24 protest.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, 27 special teams carried out search operations across various areas of the city under the leadership of senior officials.

According to police sources, this operation led to the arrest of 200 PTI activists, including both men and women.

The authorities reported that weapons and ammunition were also seized from their possession, signaling potential plans for violent activities during the protest.

Police officials stated that stringent legal action is being taken against the arrested individuals.

The ongoing crackdown is part of Islamabad's broader efforts to maintain public order and prevent any form of violence during political events.
