Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Saturday decided to give the party election ticket from NA-133 Lahore to Shaista Pervaiz Malik, widow of its late leader Pervez Malik.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PML-N parliamentary board has also approved the decision to give the party ticket to Shaista Pervaiz Malik.
PML-N President Mian Shehbaz Sharif Saturday visited the house of late Pervaiz Malik and expressed condolence with the grieved family.
Later, he announced giving a party ticket to Shaista Pervaiz Malik after consultancy with Mian Nawaz Sharif in London.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has given the party ticket from NA-133 to Chaudhry Aslam Gill and the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has given the ticket to its leader Jamsheed Iqbal Cheema.
Jamsheed Iqbal Cheema has resigned from the post of Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Food Security to contest the by-elections in NA-133.
