Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif has decided to meet and contact telephonically with Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) leadership to avoid political confrontation with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, this decision was taken in a kitchen cabinet meeting of the Sharifs family held here at Jati Umra on Sunday.
In the important sitting, Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz and Ishaq Dar joined their heads to make the future political strategy of the PML-N.
The sources said the PML-N leadership was convinced by avoiding political confrontation regarding the level playing field of the PPP and the return of Nawaz Sharif to the homeland.
Following the suggestion of former Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif will start political contacts in the next two days, sources said.
Nawaz Sharif will contact personally with former President Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Attaullah Mengal, Bilawal Bhutto and other leaders.
According to sources Nawaz Sharif will contact the PDM leadership to thank them.
In the meeting, the country's political political scenario was discussed after the return of Nawaz Sharif.
Sources revealed that it was decided in the meeting that Nawaz Sharif would focus on legal matters first.
