Former BNP Senator Qasim Ronjho has come forward with serious allegations, claiming he was coerced into holding a press conference by the Balochistan National Party (BNP) leadership. In a video statement, Ronjho revealed that party leaders and workers took him to the Senate, forcing him to read out a pre-written statement at a press conference.
"I was lied to at the press conference and given scripted words to read," Ronjho stated in the video, shedding light on the pressure he faced.
These claims were further supported by Ronjho's son, Jehanzeb Qasim Ronjho, who made startling revelations on social media platform X. Jehanzeb claimed that his father had previously resigned due to dissatisfaction with the BNP leadership but was forced to retract his resignation and issue it again under pressure. He expressed disappointment in the party’s leadership, stating that the family had not expected such behaviour.
Jehanzeb also criticized the treatment of his elderly father, alleging that the 73-year-old was dragged to the Senate to submit his resignation, which had already been handed in earlier.
