Five young people drowned while bathing in River Ravi near Syed Wala Bridge in Renala Khurd on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, rescue teams rushed to the spot and saved the lives of two people by getting them out of the river.
The rescue 1122 teams also succeeded to recover two dead bodies of the drowned youth and the search operation for the third continued till filing this report.
The youths had come to have a picnic on the River Ravi and tried to take bath in the waters. One of the dead youth has been identified as Ali.
