The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Hyderabad has arrested a terrorist belonging to a banned outfit from Jamshoro, Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to the spokesman for the CTD, Deedar Ali had confessed that he used to collect funds for the Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA), a banned organization, in interior Sindh.
He claimed that the CTD had also recovered from him a 30-bore pistol besides receipts of funds received from different persons.
CTD Karachi combs suburban areas of Cantonment Station
CTD personnel checked homes and hotels in the suburban areas of Karachi’s Cantonment Railway Station on Friday night and questioned 129 persons. However no arrest was made.
