Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department on Monday released latest statistics of dengue virus cases according to which 50 new cases were reported during last 24 hours in different cities of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to latest figures, 46 cases of dengue virus were reported from Rawalpindi, two from Attock and 1 each from Faisalabad and Chakwal.
The spokesman of the department said that during one week total 391 cases were registered in Punjab and the numbers of Dengue virus patients reached to 1094 during the current year.
The spokesman further stated that Department of Health completed all the necessary arrangement to tackle dengue virus cases in Punjab.
He said that sufficient quantity of medicines required for treatment of dengue virus available in all government hospitals of the province.
