Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan is under investigation by the FIA in the Toshakhana 2 case for failing to deposit gifts received during an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to an investigation report obtained by 24 News, Khan and his family did not submit valuable gifts to the Toshakhana.

The report reveals that during his visit to Saudi Arabia in May 2021, Khan received 108 gifts from various countries, with 58 gifts and boxes retained from the Toshakhana.

The total value of the gifts he kept exceeded Rs 142 million. Of these, 14 gifts worth Rs 38 million were retained after partial compensation, while 44 items valued below Rs 30,000 were kept without any payment.

One of the most notable gifts was a luxury Bulgari jewelry set, presented by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Imran Khan's wife.

The set included bracelets, rings, bangles, necklaces, and earrings, all adorned with pink diamonds, pearls, and other precious gems. However, the complete details of the jewelry's value were not submitted to Toshakhana.

The case is part of a broader investigation into the handling of state gifts by the former prime minister and his family.
