Former MPA candidate of PPP kills a man, injures three others in Rawalpindi

One person was killed and three others, including a father, mother, and sister-in-law, were critically injured in a firing incident in Rawalpindi’s Hazara Colony on Sunday.


According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the violence erupted after a dispute over the parking of a rickshaw in the street between Babar Jadoon, his brother, and their guard.


Babar Jadoon, the former president of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Rawalpindi and a former candidate for MPA from the Rawalpindi Cantonment constituency PP-18, opened fire following the argument.


As per the channel report, after the attack, Jadoon and his accomplices managed to flee the scene.


Police arrived shortly after the incident, sifting the deceased and injured people to a nearby hospital.


A case of murder has been registered, and investigations are underway.
