Self-exiled former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif Wednesday warned Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial is putting his career on the line for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif talked to the media on his arrival at the office in London and strongly criticized judges' role in saving the PTI founder.
Nawaz Sharif said the founder of PTI repeatedly violated the constitution of Pakistan and during his tenure as the opposition party did nothing except sit-ins and protests against the PML-N regime.
Nawaz Sharif said everyone knew that the PTI founder was brought into power by General Bajwa and General Faiz of that time and after coming to power, he left no stone unturned, went to America and said that he would remove the fan and every facility from Nawaz Sharif's jail room.
He said there was a time when the Chief Justices of the Supreme Court Saqib Nisar, Khosa, Ijazul Hasan, Sheikh Azmat Saeed and another judge were trying to disqualify him and Justice Saqib Nisar's conversation is on record in which he said that Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz should be put in jail and Imran should be brought into power. Justice Saqib Nisar also said that this is the decision of "those people", who were General Bajwa and General Faiz.
He said the Chief Justice of that time was trying to wall Nawaz Sharif and today's Chief Justice is trying to save Imran despite knowing that this guy was corrupt and had destroyed Pakistan.
He also added that the Chief Justice of Pakistan is active in saving those who are involved in corruption worth billions of rupees from Toshakhana and destroying the morals of the Pakistani nation taunting them with thuggery.
He said during the sit-ins, Imran Khan used to say that he would drag him out of the Prime Minister's House by putting a rope around Nawaz Sharif's neck.
He lauded those who saved the lives of children in the Battagram Chairlift incident as the rescue operation was monitored by the whole world
Apart from Muslim League workers, Senior Vice President Ilyas Majeed Sheikh was among those who welcomed Nawaz Sharif at office.
