A Pakistan soldier embraced martyrdom in a fresh act of ceasefire violation by Indian military along the Line of Control (LoC), Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.
The Pakistan army responded effectively inflicting substantial damage on Indian troops, the ISPR said, adding that Sepoy Mukhtiar, 22, embraced martyrdom.
Indian troops unprovoked firing claimed the life of a 50-year-old woman on Tuesday while three people including a minor girl sustained wounds.
Last week, the Indian troops targeted a United Nations Military Observers (UNMOs) vehicle, however, they escaped unhurt.
