In a surprising turn of events, nomination papers for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) former federal minister, Murad Saeed, who has been in hiding since the incidents of May 9, were submitted on Sunday for National Assembly Constituencies NA-3 Swat and NA-4 Swat.
According to 24News HD TV channel, Murad Saeed's papers were presented to the Returning Officer's office of the Election Commission of Pakistan by his adviser, Khursheed Dada on Sunday.
It's worth noting that Murad Saeed, a close aide of PTI Founder Chairman Imran Khan, was elected as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-4 Swat in the previous elections.
He has been an integral part of the Core Committee of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and served as the Federal Minister of Communications.
Despite his current underground status, the submission of his nomination papers suggests a potential return to the political forefront.
