The Pakistani rupee is recovering against the US dollar slowly but steadily, with the Pakistani currency gaining 73 paisas in the interbank market in the previous week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The rupee closed the week at Rs282.53 as compared to the level of Rs283.26 of the previous week. In open market, the rupee recorded 50 paisas recovery against the greenback and closed the week at Rs284 compared to its previous close of Rs84.50.
The price of the Euro lost Re1 to close at Rs310, British Pound also lost Re1 and closed at Rs360, while the exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal decreased by Re1 and 50 paisas to close at Rs77.20 and Rs75.50 respectively.
