Asif Zardari takes mission ‘no-trust’ to Mansoora

Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday met with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq at the party’s headquarters in Mansoora, Lahore and discussed with him the prevailing political situation of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Zardari, on the occasion, also informed Siraj of the meetings he had held recently with different opposition leaders as well as leaders of the parties, part of the coalition government at Center, in order to enlist their support for the no-trust move the PPP and other opposition parties planned to bring against the government in the National Assembly.

It is worth reminding here that Zardari has met with different opposition leaders recently namely PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman as well as leaders of the parties, part of the coalition government at Center namely Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain of PML-Q and leaders of the MQM-P to muster their support for the no-confidence motion.
